By accessing or using 8-K Intel (“the Service”), including our website, mobile applications, and API, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 13 years old and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.
8-K Intel provides AI-generated summaries of SEC 8-K filings delivered in real time. Our service monitors SEC EDGAR for new filings and uses artificial intelligence to produce plain-English summaries, push notifications, and analytical signals. The Service includes a web dashboard, mobile applications (iOS and Android), a REST API, an MCP server, and webhook integrations.
The content provided by 8-K Intel is for informational purposes only and does not constitute investment advice, financial advice, trading recommendations, or any other kind of professional advice. AI-generated summaries, sentiment analysis, and signals may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. Always verify information against the original SEC filing before making any investment decisions. 8-K Intel is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to: provide accurate and complete information when creating your account; notify us immediately of any unauthorized use; and not share your account or API keys with unauthorized parties. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
8-K Intel offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions (Developer and Pro) are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:
API access is subject to rate limits based on your subscription tier. You agree not to: exceed your rate limits or circumvent rate limiting mechanisms; use the API to build a competing product; redistribute API responses in bulk without attribution; or share your API keys with unauthorized parties. API keys that are compromised should be revoked and regenerated immediately.
You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts; reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service; use the Service to transmit malware or harmful code; scrape or harvest data beyond what the API provides; or redistribute our AI-generated content commercially without permission.
The Service, including its design, code, AI models, and branding, is owned by 8-K Intel and protected by intellectual property laws. SEC filing data is public domain. AI-generated summaries are provided for your personal or internal business use. You may not claim ownership of AI-generated summaries or represent them as your own original analysis without attribution.
You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days per our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or fail to pay for a paid subscription. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination except in cases of severe violations.
8-K Intel is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: investment losses based on AI-generated summaries; service interruptions or data loss; or unauthorized access to your account. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 8-K Intel, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from: your use of the Service; your violation of these Terms; or your violation of any third-party rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of these courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the Service and delete your account.
